Tarpon Springs, Florida -- Former NBA star Matt Geiger just sold his home, the largest mansion in Pinellas County, for $8 million. Special features like a 3,000-gallon shark tank, rock diving cliff into a custom-designed pool, and 28,000 sq. ft. of space made the property a desirable acquisition for the undisclosed out-of-state buyer who purchsed the complex on Tuesday, Jan. 4.
The estate on Old Keystone Road in Tarpon Springs has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and sits on more than twenty acres of land. It was listed on the market by real estate brokerage Engel & Völkers for just over a year before the recent sale. While owned by the former Miami Heat player, livestock (including twelve buffalo) were housed on the property while charity events and filming for Hollywood movies, like 2004's "The Punisher" have been hosted on the property.
Additional amenities in the house, which was built in 2002, include a 4,900 sq. ft. guest house, movie theatre, commercial-quality bar, DJ booth, tennis courts, putting green, professional-qualilty workout facility, cigar room, wine cellar, and spa.
The sale was handled by the Clearwater Beach office of Engel & Völkers.
