Tarpon Springs, Florida -- The teen who was shot during a robbery attempt Saturday night has been released from the hospital.
Tarpon Springs Police say 19-year-old Bradley Perez was shot by the armed robber while he struggled to disarm the man. Perez suffered a single gunshot wound to the abdomen and was treated at Bayfront Medical Center before his release Monday.
Police are still searching for the suspect who is described as a Hispanic man in his early 30's, approximately 5'3" to 5'5", 130-150 lbs., and was last seen wearing a gray or blue hoodie.
