Tarpon Springs, Fla. -- Feel like you're missing out on what makes Florida so unique? You can learn more about Florida culture from Tampa Bay Times writer Jeff Klinkenberg.
Klinkenberg has been with the Times since 1977 and writes the popular "Real Florida" column. He'll share some of his stories in the next "Lunch and Learn" talk Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the Tarpon Springs Heritage Museum.
The talk will take place at noon and also includes a catered box lunch and soft drink. The price is $15 or $12 for members. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Tarpon Arts website.
Klinkenberg is also the author of the books Pilgrim in the Land of Alligators, Seasons of Real Florida and Dispatches from the Land of Flowers. His "Real Florida" column has won the national Sigma Delta Chi Award and Klinkenberg has twice been awarded the Paul Hansell Distinguished Journalism Award--the highest honor in state journalism.
